Professor Joslin Talks to N.Y. Times Magazine About Push to Ban Anonymous Gamete Donation

The New York Times Magazine quoted Professor Courtney Joslin in a Dec. 3 story on the push to end anonymous gamete donation and the potential impact it might have on the legal and social acceptance of LGBTQ+ parent families.  

Joslin wrote about efforts to end anonymous gamete donations and the potential unintended negative implications of some of the proposals in the article “Gamete Regulation and Family Protections in a Post-Dobbs World” and in the co-authored book chapter “The High Stakes of Gamete Regulation in a Post-Dobbs World.”  

Professor Joslin is a scholar in the field of family and relationship recognition, with a particular focus on same-sex and non-marital couples.
