Professor Joslin Presents at University of Pennsylvania-UC Irvine Event
On March 18, Professor Courtney Joslin presented her article “How Parenthood Functions” at the University of Pennsylvania. Co-written with Yale Law School Professor Douglas NeJaime, the article is forthcoming in the Columbia Law Review.
The panel was part of the 2022 Baby Markets Roundtable. Co-sponsored by UC Irvine School of Law and the University of Pennsylvania, the Baby Markets Roundtable “brings together an interdisciplinary group of scholars, policy-makers, civil society advocates, journalists, activists, and others to examine the myriad ways in which families are created, shaped, formed, and regulated.”
Professor Joslin is a scholar in the field of family and relationship recognition, with a particular focus on same-sex and non-marital couples.
