Professor Joslin Highlights Recent Scholarship in East Coast Presentations
Professor Courtney Joslin presented “Multiparenthood,” a paper co-authored with Yale Law School Professor Douglas NeJaime, at the annual Family Law Scholars and Teachers Conference, held June 14-15 at Boston College Law School. Joslin also served as a commentator for “The Wrongs of Parental Rights,” a piece co-co-authored by UC Davis Law Professor Mary Ziegler, University of North Carolina School of Law Professor Maxine Eichner and University of Virginia School of Law Professor Naomi Cahn.
On June 20, Joslin co-presented with NeJaime on the panel “Parental Recognition of LGBTQ+ Parents” for the Harvard Law School Women’s Alliance of New York. The next day, Joslin spoke about her piece “Gamete Regulation and Family Protection in a Post-Dobbs World” during a presentation for If/How/When.
Professor Joslin is a scholar in the field of family and relationship recognition, with a particular focus on same-sex and non-marital couples.
