Professor Elmendorf Discusses 'Fair Share' Housing Policy in Webinar

On Nov. 29, Professor Christopher Elmendorf took part in the webinar “Fair Share from Coast to Coast.”  

The webinar explored four geographies with different “fair share” laws.

The housing policy term “fair share” refers to a general legal and policy framework that requires each community to fulfill its statutory or state constitutional obligation to provide an equitable portion of affordable housing needed in its region. Christopher S. Elmendorf is a UC Davis Law professor of law whose teaching and research interests include election law, administrative law, statutory interpretation, constitutional law, and property and natural resources law.
