Prof Hing Analyzes Immigration Policy in LA Daily Journal Interview

Professor Bill Ong Hing was interviewed for the August 12, 2008, Los Angeles Daily Journal article "A Glimpse at Immigrations Future, Obama Style." Hing is one of several experts advising presidential candidate Barack Obama (D-Ill.) on immigration. In the interview, Hing discussed how best to establish an effective immigration strategy in the U.S., including potentially enacting a guest worker program, the futility of employer sanctions, and the need to encourage and support immigrant integration.

Hing is a national expert on immigration policy and is the founder of the Immigrant Legal Resource Center in San Francisco, California.
