Perkins '73 Enjoys Immediacy of Role as Superior Court Judge

Alan Perkins '73, a former business litigator, enjoys the immediacy of his new role as a Sacramento superior court judge. Prior to his appointment in 2005 by Governor Schwarzenegger, Perkins was a partner at Wilke, Fleury, Hoffelt, Gould & Birney LLP, where he spent three decades as a business defense litigator, specializing in real estate issues, creditor's rights, and complex commercial transactions. He also taught as an adjunct professor at UC Davis School of Law and served as an arbitrator and mediator in more than 50 commercial and construction-related disputes.
