Patricia McLanahan '78 Named to IRS Special Counsel

Patricia McLanahan '78, managing director for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, has been named special counsel to Clarissa C. Potter, deputy chief counsel (Technical) at the Internal Revenue Service.  She previously has served as tax counsel on the Democratic staff of the Senate Finance Committee and as attorney-advisor in the Treasury Department's Oiffce of Tax Policy at the time of the Tax Reform Act of 1986.
