Odell '96 Appointed to Colorado's Eighth Judicial District Judgeship
Colorado Governor Bill Ritter has appointed Devin R. Odell '96 to replace retiring Judge James Hiatt in the Eighth Judicial District serving Larimer and Jackson Counties. Odell has practiced law in Fort Collins through the Colorado Attorney General's Office since 2003, often representing the state on natural resources issues. Prior to working in the Attorney General's Office, he was an associate at Frey, Korb, Haggerty & Michael (2004-2006); associate attorney at Brown & Bain (2001-2003); associate attorney and of counsel at Sonosky, Chambers, Sachse, Miller & Munson (1997-2000); and a law clerk for the Alaska Supreme Court, Chambers of Justice Dana Fabe (1996-1997).
