Nicholas Jacobs '00 Named Shareholder at Somach Simmons & Dunn
Nicholas A. Jacobs '00 has been named shareholder at the Sacramento law firm of Somach Simmons & Dunn. Jacobs joined the firm as an associate attorney in September 2000, after previously clerking with the firm in 1999. His practice areas include land use, environmental law, and water law. He represents a diverse range of clients, including public agencies, private utilities, duck clubs, and developers.
At UC Davis, Jacobs was awarded the American Jurisprudence award in constitutional law. He currently serves on the editorial board of the Western Water Law & Policy Reporter, and is a monthly articles contributor to the California Water Law & Policy Reporter.
