Michelle Marchetta Kenyon '86 Appointed Second Vice President

McDonough Holland & Allen PC, one of Northern Californias legal leaders representing both public and private sector clients, announced that Michelle Marchetta Kenyon '86, a shareholder and head of the firm's Oakland office, has been chosen as second vice president of the City Attorneys Department of the League of California Cities.  Traditionally, the second vice president advances to first vice president and then to president of the department.

Kenyon has provided legal representation for cities, redevelopment agencies, and other public agencies as city attorney and special counsel for 20 years. Her current city roster includes serving as city attorney for the cities of Rohnert Park, Calistoga, and Moraga, and special counsel to the cities of Berkeley, Pacifica, San Bruno, and San Mateo.  She also serves as general counsel for the Livermore-Amador Valley Water Management Agency and Sanitary District No. 1 of Marin County. Currently, Kenyon serves as president of the Contra Costa City Attorney Association and is an in-demand speaker on public law issues.
