M'Guinness '94 Appointed General Counsel to Visa International

Visa International announced the appointment of Thomas A. M'Guinness '94 as general counsel and corporate secretary, effective October 1, 2006. M'Guinness joined Visa in 1997 as staff counsel and quickly progressed to vice president and senior vice president positions within the Visa International legal department. From 2002 to 2004, he was executive vice president, general counsel and chief financial officer for Visa's Latin America and Caribbean Region, and is currently the deputy general counsel for Visa International. Working with all parts of Visa's global organization, M'Guinness has played an instrumental role in helping to shape the organization's corporate structure and governance.
