Megha Bhatt '15 Selected for Mabie-Apallas Fellowship

Megha Bhatt '15 has been selected to receive a Mabie-Apallas Fellowship that will fund a full-time, one-year staff attorney position with Legal Services of Northern California, the largest legal services provider in California. Bhatt will work out of LSNC's Auburn office, doing a variety of legal aid work including public benefits, disability, housing, employment, education, and water rights. The fellowship is made available with support from the Mabie-Apallas Public Interest Chair held by Dean Kevin R. Johnson.

"I am very excited to continue working with the amazing attorneys and staff at LSNC as the Mabie-Apallas Fellow," said Bhatt, who has previously worked with LSNC as a law clerk in a position funded by a King Hall Legal Foundation Mabie-Apallas grant.  "The fellowship will be a great way to launch my public interest career."
