Marc Levinson '73 Honored as American Lawyer ‘Dealmaker of the Year'
Marc Levinson '73 was named by American Lawyer as a "Dealmaker of the Year" for leading the legal team that advised the City of Stockton in its bankruptcy case. The "Dealmaker of the Year" awards recognize "creative thinking, novel approaches and innovative work."
A partner at Orrick, Levinson is resident in the firm's Sacramento office. His practice concentrates on insolvency planning, bankruptcy cases, out-of-court reorganizations and workouts. He was previously honored as a Dealmaker of the Year by The American Lawyer in 2009 for his work in the bankruptcy case of the City of Vallejo, California.
