LL.M. Alumnus Promoted to Partner
Hanno F. Kaiser LL.M.'98 was promoted to partner at Latham & Watkins LLP, effective January 2006. Prior to the promotion, Kaiser was a senior associate in the Litigation Department of the New York office. He has a broad domestic and international antitrust counseling and litigation practice. Kaiser has successfully defended merger challenges under Section 7 of the Clayton Act, price discrimination claims brought under the Robinson-Patman Act, and he regularly advises clients on pre-merger notification issues, joint ventures, distribution agreements, standard setting procedures, coordinated interaction, information exchange and monopolization matters, with a special focus on the high-tech sector and the hospitality industry.
Kaiser is a member of the New York bar and the German bar. He serves on the Antitrust and Trade Regulation Committee of the Bar of the City of New York.
