Liam McKenna ’12 Appointed as General Counsel for House Oversight & Government Reform Committee

Liam McKenna ’12 has been appointed as General Counsel for the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee. McKenna was appointed by Congressman Jason Chaffetz, U.S. representative for Utah's 3rd congressional district and the Chair of the Committee.

McKenna joined the committee staff in April 2016 to work with the Information Technology Subcommittee. Prior to joining that, he was Chief Counsel for Homeland Security on the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, under Chairman Ron Johnson and, before that, Ranking Member Tom Coburn.
