Laura Flores '15 Selected for Equal Justice Works Fellowship

Laura Flores '15 has been selected for an Equal Justice Works fellowship. As the Equal Justice Works Emerson Fellow, she will work with the California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation to provide direct legal assistance to immigrants in Sacramento and the Central Valley. 

The fellowship is part of Equal Justice Works' efforts to build a corps of attorneys and paralegals to provide high-quality, high-volume legal services to immigrants seeking renewals of their applications under the current Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy and build capacity for when the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) and expanded DACA policies go into effect.
