In L.A. Times, Professor Elmendorf Urges Statewide Housing Permitting Framework

Professor Christopher Elmendorf wrote a Dec. 1 op-ed for the Los Angeles Times headlined “Clear a path for sweeping urban experiments such as California Forever.” Authored with Harvard economics Professor Ed Glaeser, the piece argues that California needs a state-level permitting framework for housing projects of statewide significance.
