Krell '03 Works for AIDS Challenge
Maggy Krell '03, co-director of the Norcal AIDS Challenge, was profiled in the Sacramento Bee about her role in the 330-mile, four-day race through the Central Valley, wine country, and Sierra foothills, which raised about $150,000 for Sacramento-area AIDS agencies.
Krell is a criminal prosecutor with the state attorney general's office. She is also an avid cyclist who commutes to work by bike, rides for fitness, and often finds herself going over opening or closing arguments of a case in her head as she pedals."I went to law school knowing I wanted to be a prosecutor," says Krell in the article. "I know that crime victims suffer and as prosecutors we get to give them a voice. Anyone with a social conscience would agree with me that we need to stand up for victims and protect society from people who don't care about others and commit crimes."
