Klatchko '04 Joins Appellate Group

Kira L. Klatchko '04, an associate at Best Best & Krieger LLP, joins their newly formed Appellate Group. Klatchko began studying appellate law while working as a summer law clerk at the Fourth Appellate District in Riverside. She has experience with both state and federal appeals and has handled matters arising from all areas of civil practice, ranging from general civil procedure to marital dissolution and probate.

While at Davis, Klatchko acted as a teaching assistant in both legal research and civil procedure courses. She served as editor-in-chief of the UC Davis Journal of Juvenile Law & Policy. She was a voting member of the Minority Recruitment, Retention, and Outreach Fund Committee, and acted as a Big Sib Student Mentor.
