Karen Johnson-McKewan '85 Comments on Orrick Deal for The Recorder
Karen Johnson-McKewan '85 commented on a recent deal between Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Levi Strauss for an article in The Recorder. The arrangement is unusual because Orrick is accepting a flat fee to handle all of Levi's legal work worldwide.
"The core principle that we're operating with here is that we're trusting each other," said Johnson-McKewan, a partner at Orrick. "We all are committed to doing whatever we can to make it work. We know there will be bits and pieces where it may not."
