Judge Gary Ichikawa '76 Profiled
Solano County Superior Court Judge Gary Ichikawa has been profiled in the PA Times, a publication of the American Society for Public Administration. The article, "A Life of Social Justice Promotion through Public Service," outlines Ichikawa's personal background and work on behalf of self-represented litigants in family law court, educational rights for foster youth, drug courts, and other endeavors.
"Through his actions, Judge Ichikawa not only made sure that court proceedings would be economical, efficient and effective," the article states. "He also made sure they were equitable for the participants in the proceedings. More important, he established systems and procedures that made sure future proceedings for future participants would be equitable as well."
