J.P. Wallis '15 Selected as Presidential Management Fellow
John Paul "J.P." Wallis '15 has been selected for a Presidential Management Fellowship and will work as a Health System Specialist for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs with VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21) at Mare Island.
The prestigious program, designed to identify and promote individuals with exceptional leadership capability and launch them into careers in public service with the federal government, received more than 6,000 applicants for about 500 fellowship positions.
During his time at King Hall, Wallis, a veteran of military service in Iraq, was a co-founder of the King Hall Veterans Association, received the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) Award of Merit for work on a special task force providing recommendations for improving the military justice system, and served as commencement speaker for his class.
