Jotwell Spotlights Article by Senior Associate Dean Afsharipour

An article co-authored by Senior Associate Dean Afra Afsharipour received a glowing review in Jotwell from University of Richmond Associate Professor of Law Da Lin.

Lin calls the University of Chicago Law Review article “Gender and the Social Structure of Exclusion in U.S. Corporate Law,” written with Matthew Jennejohn, a “terrific project” that “will mark just the beginning of a vast research frontier.”

Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor Afra Afsharipour’s areas of research include corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, transactional law, and the legal profession. Her scholarship has appeared in the Columbia Law Review, University of Chicago Law Review, Minnesota Law Review, Vanderbilt Law Review, and UC Davis Law Review, among other leading publications.
