José Olivera ’11 Appointed as Sacramento Superior Court Judge

Gov. Gavin Newsom has appointed José Apolinar Olivera ’11 as a Sacramento Superior Court judge.

A director and associate general counsel for Meta Platforms since 2019, Olivera previously served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of California and as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice.

Olivera serves on the King Hall Alumni Association Board.
