Johnson Appears On UC Davis Frontiers Show

Associate Dean Kevin R. Johnson is interviewed on Frontiers, a news show that highlights the contributions the UC Davis faculty is making to research, teaching, and public service. Johnson joins sociology professor David Kyle and Frontiers' host Paul Pfotenhauer to discuss civil rights for undocumented workers and issues with smuggling, slavery, and anti-immigration measures. The edition airs on UCTV beginning in April 2007.

His book, How Did You Get to Be Mexican? A White/Brown Man's Search for Identity, was published in 1999 and was nominated for the 2000 Robert F. Kennedy Book Award. He also has published Race, Civil Rights, and American Law: A Multiracial Approach and Mixed Race America and the Law: A Reader.
