Jeffery Daar '82 Appointed to New Board Positions

Jeffery Daar '82, a principal at Daar & Newman in Woodland Hills, California, was appointed by the Mayor of Los Angeles and confirmed by the Los Angeles City Council to the Board of Airport Commissioners for the Los Angeles World Airports. The seven-member board is the governing body for airports including LAX, the fifth-busiest airport in the world and second-busiest in the United States.

Daar also was elected to the Advisory Board of Consulegis, EEIG, which is an international network of law firms in more than 45 countries and 150 cities with more than 1,700 lawyers.  Daar was earlier elected as the Co-Chair of its International Litigation and Arbitration Specialist Group coordinating lawyer specialists.
