Janet Gaard '83 Appointed Judicial Advisor to Yolo Grand Jury

Yolo County Superior Court Judge Janet Gaard '83 was appointed last week as the Judicial Advisor for the Yolo County Grand Jury.  Presiding Judge Dave Rosenberg stated, "Judge Gaard is an excellent choice for this important role because of her leadership skills and commitment to the community."

Judge Gaard was appointed to the Yolo Superior Court bench in May 2008 by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, having previously served as Chief Assistant Attorney General for the Division of Public Rights at the California Department of Justice and as Special Assistant Attorney General and Director of Legislative Affairs.
