James Larsen '74 and Dean Designate Johnson Featured at Law Day Event
Dean Designate Kevin Johnson was a featured speaker at the San Joaquin County Bar Association Law Day, May 7-8, 2008. At the event, James Larsen '74 of the Public Defender's office was awarded the prestigious Law Day Award for 2008 as a stalwart defender of the public good, and an unsung hero of the local legal system, representing those who cannot afford representation in the county courts. LSA President Eric Toscano '09, Ali Hing Nevitt '09, and Ryan Stahl '09 also attended the event. A number of alumni were present, including the Honorable Tony Agbayani '81 and the Honorable Cinda Fox '84. John Schick '72 and Kathy Schick hosted the law students at the event and introduced Dean Johnson to alumni.
