Immigration Advocates Network Spotlights Genevieve Kramer '06
Genevieve Kramer '06 was the subject of a recent "Member Spotlight" profile on the Immigration Advocates Network website. Kramer serves as Immigration Implementation Coordinator with the UFW Foundation, helping to provide a variety of legal services to farm workers around the state. Much of the article focuses on UFW's use of media and technology to maximize its resources and serve a farm worker population that is broadly dispersed across rural areas of California and neighboring states.
"Not having enough resources is magnified tenfold in rural communities; they have such limited access to accurate information and affordable legal services," Kramer states. "They are the people who need information and assistance the most."
