The Honorable Judy Hersher '84 Speaks at JLSA Forum   

The Honorable Judy Hersher '84 of the Superior Court of Sacramento County was joined by attorney Donald Heller for a discussion of "Mensches on the Bench, D'var from the Bar" hosted by the Jewish Law Students Association on February 4 at King Hall.  The panelists discussed the ways in which Judaism has guided their careers, taking questions from students for approximately one hour.

Hersher is a member of the King Hall Alumni on the Bench Association and the Alumni Association Board of Directors.  She left a partnership at Downey, Brand, Seymour, & Rohwer to be sworn in as a Sacramento Superior Court Judge in February 2001.  She has been an active member of Women Lawyers of Sacramento, and has been honored with the Sacramento County Bar Association Humanitarian of the Year award.
