Holly Cooper, Immigration Law Clinic Students Speak at Bakersfield College

Holly Cooper, Associate Director of the UC Davis School of Law Immigration Law Clinic, together with clinic students Anita Barooni '16 and Amanda Whitney '16, spoke at Bakersfield College's Levan Center for the Humanities on February 5.  Their panel discussion concerned the privatization of immigration detention, detention policies for those seeking asylum in the United States, and how the international refugee crisis is impacting U.S. policies toward immigrants and asylum-seekers.
