Faculty Panel Discusses Economic Crisis
A standing room-only audience heard a panel of UC Davis faculty experts discuss the recent turmoil in the financial markets and the government's response in King Hall on October 10. Professor Joel C. Dobris, Professor Thomas W. Joo, and Professor Evelyn A. Lewis of the School of Law were joined by Professor Peter Lindert of the Department of Economics for the discussion, which was moderated by Jonathan Glater, a business reporter with The New York Times. The audience, which was largely made up of King Hall students, seemed to particularly enjoy Professor Dobris' predictions regarding the future, which included an assurance that "all law students will be able to find jobs."
