Essay by Alum Kathleen Doty Places Second in Writing Competition
An essay authored by Kathleen Doty '08 won second place in the Michael Greenberg Student Writing Competition, sponsored by the National Lesbian and Gay Law Association (NLGLA). Generally, only the first-place paper is published, but Doty's paper, which centers around sexual orientation and the law, is also being considered for publication by a prominent law journal.
