Eisentraut '96 Joins Preston Gates & Ellis

Aleka Skouras Eisentraut '96 joins the San Francisco office of Preston Gates & Ellis. Her practice concentrates on real estate transactions in California and Hawaii, with extensive experience representing developers and investors in the acquisition, disposition, development, construction, and leasing of commercial, residential (suburban subdivision and urban infill) and mixed-use projects, including those issues related to common-interest developments such as Declarations of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, disclosures and other Department of Real Estate issues. She also deals in general business and corporate transactions for clients, including advising clients in the formation of joint ventures and other investment vehicles.

Eisentrauts land use practice includes the preparation and review of conservation easements, operation and management plans and preserve budgets in connection with mitigation and preservation efforts for developers and individuals, as well as advising clients regarding the impact and resolution of species, wetlands and hazardous waste issues. Prior to joining Preston Gates, she practiced as in-house counsel with a Northern California homebuilder.
