Dunning '73 Hosts Radio Talk Show
Bob Dunning '73 was recently profiled in the Sacramento Bee for hosting radio talk shows "The Bishop's Radio Hour" and "Across the Nation." For the past 31 years, he has also written five columns a week for the Enterprise, the local newspaper in Davis.
"The Bishop's Radio Hour" on KSMH (1620 AM), is a weekday forum sponsored by the Diocese of Sacramento, where Catholics can discuss the news of the day, from the innocuous (potluck fundraisers) to the controversial (priest sex-abuse scandals). In December 2006, he began hosting a three-hour weekday show, "Across the Nation," on Sirius satellite radio's Catholic Channel, where hot-button topics such as abortion, assisted suicide, homosexuality, the Latin Mass, and contraception are routinely hashed out.
