Dean Johnson Speaks at Workshop for Promoting Diversity in Law School Leadership

Dean Kevin R. Johnson spoke on the panel “What & Why: Deciding to Become a Dean” on Sept. 16 at the 11th annual Promoting Diversity in Law School Leadership Workshop.

Presented by Seattle University School of Law and Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, the workshop encourages members of underrepresented groups to pursue university and law school leadership positions.

Kevin R. Johnson is the law school’s dean, Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and professor of Chicana/o studies at UC Davis. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
