Dean Johnson Profiled in San Francisco Attorney

Dean Kevin R. Johnson and UC Davis School of Law are the subjects of an in-depth profile in the latest issue of San Francisco Attorney, a publication of the Bar Association of San Francisco.  The article, "UC Davis Dean Sees Upward Trajectory," focuses on the dean's efforts to promote diversity, maintain accessibility, and achieve a higher profile for UC Davis School of Law.

Much of the profile details Dean Johnson's relationships with faculty, prospective students, students, and alumni through interviews with Associate Dean Vikram Amar, Professor Lisa Ikemoto, alumnus Keith Allen-Niesen '89, and students Edward "E.J." Brown '12, Emilio Camacho '11, and John Puccinelli '11. 

The article also notes Dean Johnson's ambition to see UC Davis School of Law ranked among the top 20 law schools in the nation.  "To do that, we need to do a full-court press in marketing, scholarship, hiring, and development," said Dean Johnson.
