Dean Johnson Awarded Judge Emily Vasquez Community Service Award

At the Wednesday, Jan. 11 meeting of the Schwartz/Levi Inn of Court, Dean Kevin R. Johnson was presented with the Judge Emily Vasquez Community Service Award. 

Sacramento Superior Court Judge and soon-to-be Third District Court of Appeal Justice Shama Mesiwala '98 presented Johnson with this great honor. Retired Sacramento Superior Court Judge Vasquez and Len Reid-Reynoso '01 joined Johnson and Mesiwala for photographs.

The award was followed by a discussion about immigration. Johnson provided background before the inn heard from one of the attorneys representing the migrants shipped by the state of Florida to Martha's Vineyard.
