Dean Johnson Among Most Thanked Scholars in Law Review Articles

Dean Kevin R. Johnson is among the 25 most thanked legal scholars in starred footnotes that appear at the beginning of most law review articles, according to the Stanford Law Review article “Hierarchy, Race, and Gender in Legal Scholarly Networks,” by Keerthana Nunna, W. Nicholson Price II and Jonathan Tietz. Johnson is one of five scholars of color on the list.

Kevin R. Johnson is the law school’s dean, Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and professor of Chicana/o studies at UC Davis. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
