David L. Haet '72 Awarded FLEXCOM's Judicial Officer of the Year

David L. Haet '72 has been honored with the Family Law Executive Committee (FLEXCOM) of the California State Bar Association's 2008 Judicial Officer of the Year award.  Haet, who has heard family law cases for nearly two decades as Solano County's first Superior Court Commissioner, received the award at the State Bar Annual Meeting in September 2008.

Haet is widely recognized as one of California's most knowledgeable and experienced judicial officers in the field of family law.  In addition to his judicial functions, he has served on the Judicial Council, the Family and Juvenile Advisory Commission, the Task Force for Judicial Needs, and the California Judicial Education and Research Commission. He has chaired the California Court Commissioners Association, and currently chairs the Family Law Commission for the California Judges Association.
