Daniel Girard '84 Featured in Reuters Article on Tech Hiring Case
Daniel Girard '84, founder and managing partner of Girard Gibbs LLC, is featured prominently in a Reuters News Agency article on the proposed $324.5 million settlement of a class action suit charging that Adobe, Apple, Google, Intel, and other large tech companies conspired to suppress the pay of employees, agreeing not to actively recruit each other's employees in order to avoid a salary war. In the article, Girard is credited with convincing U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh that the proposed settlement amount was not enough given the facts of the case.
