CILC Profiles Yu Kanosue '04
The California International Law Center at King Hall (CILC) has posted the latest in its series of alumni profiles, featuring Yu Kanosue '04. A winner of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Award as a student for her work with the UC Davis School of Law Immigration Law Clinic, she has enjoyed a successful career in the United Nations organization and serves as Associate Social Affairs Officer at the Social Development Division of ESCAP, the U.N. Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, in Bangkok, Thailand. Yu recently received word of her next posting: in June of this year, she will become a Human Rights Officer for the U.N. Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights, serving in its country office in Kathmandu, Nepal.
