Chao '01 and Lawrence '07 join Shartsis Friese

Shartsis Friese LLP announced that Gabriel Chao '01 and Erik Lawrence '07 have joined the firm as associates this Fall.

Chao is a member of the Firm's Real Estate Department. His practice is focused on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing of commercial properties. He assists and advises real estate investment trusts (REITs), life insurance companies, and other institutional clients and public companies on real estate matters.

Lawrence is an associate in the Business Department. His practice focuses on general business and corporate matters with an emphasis in representing investment funds and advisers, securities, and mergers and acquisitions. At the UC Davis School of Law, Lawrence was a member of Order of the Coif and Managing Editor of the UC Davis Law Review.
