Bruce Markell '80 Joins Northwestern University School of Law Faculty 

Bruce Markell '80 has joined the faculty at Northwestern University School of Law as a Professor of Bankruptcy Law.  He had been teaching there as a Visiting Professor of Law since January 2015. From 2013-2015, he had been the Jeffrey A. Stoops Professor of Law at Florida State University School of Law. Prior to that, he was a United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Nevada, a position he had held since 2004. After graduating from King Hall, he clerked for then-Judge Anthony M. Kennedy on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
