Alumnus Appointed Senior VP for Diversity at Disney
Robert Mendez '80 was appointed to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Diversity, Disney-ABC Television Group. He will be responsible for advancing diversity strategies for various properties within Disney-ABC Television Group.
An accomplished Television industry attorney, Mendez has managed business affairs, legal affairs, contract administration and production agreements for many successful TV series such as "Live with Regis and Kelly" and "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire."
Mendez has a long commitment to employment diversity in the television industry and other business sectors. He is a past president of the Hispanic National Bar Association and currently serves on the Boards of the Hispanic National Bar Foundation and The Imagen Foundation.
