Alum Charity Kenyon Elected President of Appellate Academy
Charity Kenyon '77 has been elected as the 2008-2009 president of the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers, an organization that brings lawyers and judges together to discuss and suggest improvements in appellate practice. The academy— the oldest lawyers' organization in the country dedicated solely to the law surrounding the appellate process— requires members to have substantial appellate experience and expertise. Kenyon, who has handled a number of cases in the California Supreme Court, is a partner with the firm of Kenyon Yeates in Sacramento, California.
