Adam Keats '97 Featured in California Lawyer
Adam Keats '97 is prominently featured in the December 2011 issue of California Lawyer as the lead attorney behind a pair of lawsuits pending in Sacramento County that have significant implications for the future of California water law and the massive State Water Project, the system which transports water from the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta to Southern California. Keats is senior counsel at the Tucson-based Center for Biological Diversity (CBD), which is seeking to invalidate major modifications to the project that were executed following 1995 meetings between the state Department of Water Resources (DWR) and water contractors.
