'96 Alumnus White House National Security Council Spokesman
Frederick L. Jones '96 serves as the chief spokesman for the White House National Security Council (NSC). He was recently featured in an article in the Washington Post on his role articulating the President's views on international issues, including such highly charged topics as the war in Iraq, the Middle East peace process and disputes over nuclear programs in Iran and North Korea.
After graduating from UC Davis School of Law, Jones spent a year studying European law in Amsterdam . He joined the State Department's Diplomatic Corp and a decade later is one of the principal voices of U.S. foreign policy.
