This symposium celebrates the remarkable contributions of Dean Kevin R. Johnson, whose work has had a profound and lasting impact on the intersection of immigration law and race, leadership in legal education, diversity of the legal academy, and the advancement of justice through civil procedure.
As the longest-serving dean of the University of California Davis School of Law, and a leading and high-impact scholar in immigration law, Dean Johnson has shaped the legal landscape through his scholarship, mentorship, and leadership. This symposium will bring together scholars to reflect on his enduring influence across multiple facets of law and society.
