Damien Schiff of Pacific Legal Foundation Speaks at King Hall
It is always an intellectual feast at UC Davis School of Law. Last week, I was able to hear a lunch presentation by Damien Schiff, senior attorney with the Pacific Legal Foundation, a conservative legal advocacy group. And a full house of students were in attendance.
Presented by the California Environmental Law and Policy Center, the program focused on environmental cases before the Supreme Court in the 2018 Term. The Takings Clause, Endangered Species Act, and beach access cases are before the Court.
Professor Rick Frank, who directs the Center, introduced the speaker. Professor Haro Dunning was in attendance.
I enjoyed a review of the Supreme Court’s environmental cases.
